Luke Deighton undertook a fantastic, complete restoration of a CruiseCraft Stinger 506.

He’s yet another member of the Deighton family which figures regularly in team CruiseCraft newsletters. They travel to great places from their home in Brisbane and they have shot some spectacular photos.

As well as being an offshore fisherman of some repute, Luke also is a gun on the squid.

The Stinger has a walk-thru windscreen and foredeck, back-to-back seats and two moulded rear seats, a large underfloor storage area, a locking glovebox and side pockets. There was an option to have bucket seats instead of the folding sleeper seats and as well as a cockpit table. Rated to take outboards up to 150hp, Stingers were manufactured from 1985 to 1990 and had the model branded in the Triline lettering font.
